Museum Benteng Vredeburg Yogyakarta

Hai semua!

Harga tiket masuknya hanya 2000 rupiah saja. Namun, setelah baca webssite Kemdigbud, harga tiket masuknya naik menjadi 3000 rupiah.

Harga tiket masuk tahun 2015

Dudu Style Korean Chicken and Cuisine

Hello fellas!

Karanglayung No. 24, Sukajadi Bandung.

Tau Ayam Betutu Khas Gilimanuk?

Mau tau makanan apalagi? Segera datang saja ya ke  Jl. Karanglayung No. 24, Sukajadi Bandung. ^^

Cafe Business Life

On November 9, 2012 I did an observation on a businessman’s life at “Nikmat” Noodles Cafe at Babakan Jeruk V / 1, Bandung. The owner's named is Mr. Purba. He has given me a lot of knowledge about business strategies and principle of business.

I learned the business strategies from Mr. Purba. The first strategy is to choose the business appropriately. For example, he sells specific foods from North Sumatra, like 'Medan Noodle' and 'Bombay Noodle'. The second is to search a strategic location, so customer's target is correct. The location of 'Nikmat Cafe' is very strategic because there are a lot of boarding and lodging houses around the cafe. The third strategy is the prices of the foods must be reasonable. The last business strategy is promoting by distributing brochures of the cafe. The four strategies that he has already taught  me, are very useful for me if I want to be a businesswoman in the future.

He is Mister Purba and you can read another post by my friend, Audhy, HERE ^^

Mr. Purba also taught me the principles of business. The main principle are having self-confidence that he can run the business well. I learned how Mr. Purba and his wife overcame many challenges well, based on this main principle. The next principle is having the entrepreneur spirit, and the last is being creative businessman. Up to now he has been running his business for 8 years successfully. All these statements gave me motivation to reach success if I want to run the business.

From this business observation, I learned how to be a successful and creative businessman. The perseverance and business ability are the keys of success in doing the business.

Here are some pictures that I took ^^
                                                                          The menu ^^

                                                                The owner and me ^^

AN INSPIRING CLASS OBSERVATION

On November 2, 2012,did an observation on the teaching and learning process  in the fifth grade English  class at Baptist Elementary School, Bandung. It has given me  a lot of  knowledge about the strategies of teaching, and to be a creative teacher.

I learned a lot of the strategies of teaching from the English teacher named Miss. Fary. One of her strategies is to explain the material clearly until the students understood. The other strategy is to attract the students' attention to enjoy learning by interesting and well-organized lessons.

Miss Fary  also taught me how to be a creative teacher like her.  She showed me how to make the lessons fun by making groups discussion  in the class, so the students can help one another if one of them did not understand the material.  I learned how to handle  the class well when the students was a bit noisy until the students pay attention in the class and how to explain the lessons to a deaf-mute student.

The two-hour class observation was very useful for me. I have learned a lot from Miss Fary as an English teacher, both from getting experience in teaching as well as  her attitude. She inspires me to be a good teacher in the future.

These are some pictures that I took when I was there ;)

He was so serious at that time ^^

Love it >.<

Cheeeeeeeeessseeee :D

Reflective Writing - My Everyday's Hero

One of my everyday's hero is my driver, named Heri Sutisna. He has been working for seven years since I was in Junior High School, and he is still working now. His good attitudes  made a good impression on my mind. His life's struggle to help his family financially made a great impact on me to be a hero for others.

I learned a lot from Heri Sutisna's attitudes. One of them is  ready to help me when I need his help to drive although he had to work overtime. His responsibility in his job is really motivated me to have a high responsibility in doing my job. I also learned how to help people with their troubles wholeheartedly.

He was an inspiration to me to be a 'Hero' for others. I learned from Heri Sutisna's life, that a hero is not only doing a great things, but no matter how little it is, worthwhile in my life. I am learning to become a hero to the people around me now.

I realized that there are 'Everyday Heroes' around me who made contribution in my life. They are my parents, my teachers, my friends, my driver, my maid, and the others. Without them I could not be who I am today. Through this opportunity I will say "Thank You" to them for everything they have done. :)

You can play the "Hero" music by Mariah Carrey. :)

Reflective Writing - THE INSPIRING OF TENNIS STAR

Maria Sharapova is one of the inspirational women in the world because of her sensational career in tennis. She is an inspiration for everyone and of course for me too. Her achievements were very admired because she has won many Tennis World Championship since teenager till now. On her biography, she told about her experiences of getting success which inspire me to do better each and every day of my life.

Maria Sharapova has made a great impact on me. She has motivated me to work harder, to learn diligently, and determinedly. From her success experience, I am motivated to have a positive thinking in living my own life, and never give up to try something. Her experiences to overcome difficulties when she was in the United States motivate me to win over many challenges which I have to face.

I am very impressed on Maria Sharapova’s life. Maria’s success story inspires me that I have to be a successful person like her in life now and in the future. She also inspires me to attain achievement in my study at the college. I must have a career dreams and feel confident the dreams will come true. To be an inspirator for everyone like Maria Sharapova is also my hope.

Being successful is not an instant effort. Self-motivation to be successful is very important for us to achieve the career goals, and we have to learn from the experiences of successful people because they can motivate and inspire ourselves to be like them.
